Why should I join GLENORA Community League?

  • You help support a thriving and active community. Glenora is one of Alberta’s oldest community league. We are your “small town” within the city of Edmonton and offer a wide range of social events throughout the year.
  • You need a membership to participate in hockey, soccer, baseball, basketball and other organized sports, Indoor Playground or Preschool Program.
  • Community league members can rent the community hall for a nominal fee for parties and other events. (check with our hall rentals specialist)
  • Members can skate at any Edmonton Community League rink. Grant McEwen Pool also offers a three-hour free swim every Sunday from 1-4pm for Glenora Community League members.

How can I get a membership?

  • A membership drive is held each year in September. Canvassers try to knock on every door in Glenora during the drive.
  • Memberships are for sale during regular registration periods for minor hockey and soccer. (Memberships are good from 1 September until August 31st the following year.)
  • You can buy a membership from the rink attendant at Glenora’s outdoor skating rink during the winter months or online through this website.

Or you can contact the membership director, Marc Downey-Damato, at:
